Databricks clouds and regions
Databricks workspaces can be hosted on Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. You can use Databricks on any of these hosting platforms to access data wherever you keep it, regardless of cloud.
This article lists the regions supported by Databricks on Google Cloud.
Note
Some Databricks features, known as Designated Services, use Databricks Geos to manage data residency when processing customer content. A Geo is a group of regions that Databricks uses to give customers predictability and transparency about where data is processed.
For more region-related information, see the following articles:
IP addresses and domains for Databricks services and assets. This page also includes Private Service Connect attachment URLs and project numbers.
Supported regions list
This table lists the GCP regions supported by Databricks. Some features are available only in a subset of regions. For details, see Features with limited regional availability. Some GCP regions do not support GPU instance types. For a list of regions and zones that support GPU instance types, see the GCP documentation.
