Databricks Machine Learning home page

The Databricks Machine Learning home page is the main access point for machine learning in Databricks.

To access this page, move your mouse or pointer over the left sidebar in the Databricks workspace. The sidebar expands as you mouse over it. From the persona switcher at the top of the sidebar, select Machine Learning.

When you visit a Databricks Machine Learning page (Feature Store, Model Registry, Experiments page, or any MLflow experiment or run page), you are automatically switched into the machine learning persona.

When the machine learning persona is active, you can return to the Databricks Machine Learning home page by clicking the Databricks logo at the top of the sidebar.

The Databricks Machine Learning home page gives you quick access to resources for machine learning in Databricks.

• At the top is a set of shortcuts. You can create an empty notebook, start AutoML, or open a tutorial notebook.

• In the center of the screen is a list of items you have recently viewed. Notebooks, registered models, feature tables, experiments, and serving endpoints appear in this list. Click on the name of any item in the list to open it.

• The sidebar is customized for machine learning, to provide quick access to the Experiments page, Databricks Feature Store, and Model Registry.

• Links to documentation resources appear at the bottom of the screen.
